Job summary

CertifyOS seeks a Staff Software Engineer to own the application layer of the CertifyOS platform, delivering full-stack systems that translate provider data infrastructure into usable products for payers, health systems, and digital health companies. You will shape technical strategy, architecture, and engineering practices at scale.

You’ll drive frontend/backend collaboration, design external APIs, and guide AI-powered workflows while ensuring performance and reliability across complex async

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production full-stack systems.
• Defined architectural direction and contributed to system-wide patterns.
• Influenced engineering practices across teams via design docs and code reviews.
• Led cross-functional initiatives involving product, design, and backend engineers.
• Mentored engineers and fostered a collaborative, high-ownership culture.

Responsibilities

• Own the application layer architecture for CertifyOS platform.
• Define frontend/backend patterns and API contracts when evolving product surfaces.
• Design and evolve external-facing APIs with versioning and backward compatibility.
• Guide the integration of AI-powered workflows within the product surface.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and observability as data and workloads scale.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
