Job summary

Mailchimp's Experience Platform team designs the architecture and tooling that power our web app, delivering performance, accessibility, and reliability. You will partner with Design System and Engineering to improve build systems, deployment pipelines, and code quality across large codebases.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale development environments and building supporting frontend frameworks.
• Expertise with modern frontend tech such as React and familiarity with Dojo.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and data-driven decision making.
• Experience orchestrating AI agents and evaluating agent-generated outputs.
• Clear written communication in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain shared frontend libraries, including packaging, versioning, distribution, and CI/CD of frontend assets.
• Improve frontend engineering experience with patterns, testing strategies, and tooling.
• Architect projects with micro frontend patterns, performance and accessibility, and guide large-scale efforts across teams.
• Design systems for observability and modular code structuring for autonomous navigation and iteration.
• Establish coding and agent best practices to reduce low-quality agent output and improve oversight.
• Guide engineers on breaking work into executable pieces for reliable agent execution.
• Collaborate with and mentor engineers across a distributed team.
• Ensure development focus on the company’s biggest initiatives across departments.
• Stay current on evolving tooling and patterns for infrastructure management.
