Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale development environments, including building frontend frameworks.
• Expertise in modern frontend technologies like React; comfortable with legacy Dojo; coding in Node, Python, PHP, Go or similar.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making; able to troubleshoot complex web applications (Bugsnag, DevTools, log analysis).
• Fluent in agent-driven development — orchestrating AI agents on real work and evaluating agent output.
• Thoughtful communicator in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain shared frontend libraries, packaging, versioning, and distribution, plus frontend asset build and deployment.
• Improve frontend engineering experience with patterns, testing strategies, and tooling.
• Architect projects with micro frontend patterns; uphold performance and accessibility standards; provide guidance on large-scale efforts.
• Design systems for observability and modular navigation, enabling autonomous modification and self-iteration.
• Establish coding and agent best practices; mitigate low-quality agent output with guardrails.
• Guide engineers to break work into pieces that agents can execute reliably.
• Collaborate with, mentor, and train other engineers across a distributed team.
• Ensure development focus on major initiatives; partner across departments to solve complex problems.
• Stay current on tools and patterns for infrastructure management.
