Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and evolve scalable frontend infrastructure within our Experience Platform. You will own shared libraries, improve engineering workflows, and guide large-scale frontend projects to higher performance and accessibility standards.

You will mentor teams across distributed locations, partner with Design System and Engineering, and drive adoption of new tools and patterns while balancing technical debt and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale development environments and building frontend frameworks.
• Expertise in React; comfortable with legacy Dojo; coding in Node, Python, PHP, Go, or similar.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Fluent in agent-driven development and evaluating agent-generated output.
• Effective written communicator in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the shared frontend libraries and the build/deploy pipelines.
• Improve frontend engineering experience with patterns, testing strategies, and tooling.
• Architect projects with micro frontend patterns and performance/accessibility standards and guide large-scale efforts.
• Design systems for observability and modular code, enabling autonomous navigation and self-iteration.
• Establish coding and agent best practices to reduce low-quality agent output.
• Guide engineers on breaking work into pieces that agents can execute reliably.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate across distributed teams.
• Ensure focus on the company’s biggest initiatives and cross-department collaboration.
• Stay current with tools and patterns for managing infrastructure and adopt when appropriate.
