Job summary

Intuit is seeking a senior frontend engineer to design scalable frontend infrastructure and abstractions for a large web app. You will drive performance, accessibility, and quality while partnering with Design System and Engineering teams to improve build, deployment, and observability.

The role emphasizes architecting micro frontend patterns, shipping robust tooling, and mentoring engineers across a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Experience in large‑scale development environments and building frontend frameworks that scale.
• Expertise with modern frontend tech (React) and ability to work with legacy systems (Dojo).
• Significant coding experience in Node, Python, PHP, Go or similar languages.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and data-driven problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain shared frontend libraries, packaging, versioning, and deployment.
• Improve frontend engineering experience with patterns, testing strategies, and tooling.
• Architect projects with micro frontend patterns, performance and accessibility standards.
• Design agent observability and modular, autonomous code structures.
• Set coding practices to reduce low-quality agent output with guardrails.
• Guide engineers to break work into reliable, executable pieces.
• Mentor and train engineers across a distributed team.
• Collaborate with departments to align on strategic initiatives and solve complex problems.
• Stay current with infrastructure tools and guide adoption as needed.
