Job summary

Trading212 is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to shape architecture across React, React Native, and the shared monorepo. You will own platform capabilities, design-system foundations, and tooling, while staying hands-on when needed.

You will mentor senior engineers, influence technical direction with evidence, collaborate with product, backend, and QA, and balance standardisation with team autonomy to reduce friction across multiple frontend teams.

• Experience delivering frontend systems at scale using React/React Native.

Responsibilities

• Set frontend architecture direction across React, React Native, and the shared monorepo.
• Own platform capabilities, shared libraries, design-system foundations, tooling and developer experience.
• Lead decisions on boundaries, state and data flow, performance, and migration strategy.
• Diagnose rendering, bundling, runtime and release-quality problems and create durable fixes.
• Remain hands-on where implementation or investigation creates clarity fastest.
• Partner with product, backend engineering and QA on risks and cross-team decisions.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise review quality across teams.
• Balance standardisation with team autonomy to minimise friction.
