Job summary

Reactive Markets is seeking a hands-on Lead Frontend Engineer to own the frontend stack across TypeScript and Rust. This role is remote (UK-based) with a strong emphasis on architecture, code quality, and team development.

You will shape the frontend platform, mentor engineers, and collaborate with CTO/CDO. Expect occasional after-hours during releases and incidents, with a distributed team across time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in frontend leadership or setting technical direction
• Strong TypeScript/React background with real-time data experience
• Familiarity with Rust and distributed systems a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend stack architecture, standards, and delivery
• Hands-on coding in TypeScript and Rust for critical work
• Mentor and develop engineers on the frontend team
• Lead with depth, raise others, and ensure production reliability
