United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a founding Staff Engineer to lead the technical architecture of a next-generation Spatial Platform. You will rebuild a 3D engine from the ground up to support multiple product lines with high performance and real-time collaboration.

The role involves owning core infrastructure, shaping rendering, latency optimization, and geospatial tools, as the company scales toward public markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building complex web apps or high-performance graphics engines.
• Strong JS and React experience with modern data libraries.
• CS degree and solid understanding of data structures and linear algebra.

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance rendering architecture for interactive 3D geospatial viewer.
• Define interaction model for spatial editing with pixel-level polish.
• Reduce latency with GPU buffers and custom shaders for real-time editing.
• Develop real-time 3D line-of-sight tools and heatmaps with AI-driven hints.
• Build offline-first, CRDT-based sync engine for multi-user editing.
