Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Staff FPGA Engineer in Costa Mesa, CA. You will lead end-to-end FPGA design for software defined radios, working across hardware, software, and mission autonomy teams to deliver robust, secure boards and verification processes.

You will own HDL design, FPGA architecture, and AMD/Xilinx workflows, ensuring high reliability in EW systems while coordinating with multiple engineers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional FPGA/embedded experience.
• Strong DSP experience for embedded or software-defined radios.
• Proficient with Xilinx/AMD FPGA architectures and development workflows.
• Proficient in HDL design using VHDL/Verilog and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Own FPGA development for software defined radios and EW platforms.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to bring up state-of-the-art boards.
• Design and test VHDL DSP modules and infrastructure.
• Integrate subsystems into larger FPGA cores and manage timing/contention issues.
• Develop drivers for RF component boards (PLLs, front ends, etc.).
• Manage project deliverables, document, and communicate progress.
