Job summary

Collectors Holdings, Inc. seeks a Staff Software Engineering Manager to lead the PSA Set Registry team, directing design, implementation, and delivery of scalable software for a large, consumer-facing platform.

You will mentor engineers, own architectural decisions, and collaborate with product and design to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. You will champion best practices, guide release processes, and ensure system availability at scale, while shaping long-term strategy

Qualifications

10+ years of experience architecting complex software systems (distributed, service-oriented, cloud-based).
5+ years in building scalable solutions using AWS technologies.
Hands-on development experience in modern API development.
Strong fundamentals in data modeling and databases (relational and NoSQL).

Responsibilities

Drive design, development, and delivery of high-quality software products from concept to production.
Lead and mentor software engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
Oversee architecture decisions, code reviews, and release management.
Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Promote engineering best practices, agile methodologies, and documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and long-term technical strategy.
