Horrocks is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to lead hydrology and hydraulics design for DOT transportation projects in our Utah region. You will develop studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates while collaborating with project managers, engineers, and staff.

The ideal candidate brings 4–10+ years of civil design experience, PE licensure, excellent communication, and a teamwork mindset. Local work with possible inter-office coordination is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 4-10+ years of experience in civil design is preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices.
• Possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a variety of hydrology and hydraulic design work for DOT projects (i.e., bridges, roadways, highways, freeways, etc.)
• Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects
• Work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects.
• Take ownership of project tasks from start to finish
