Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering.
• PE license is required for the role.
• 8-12 years of hydraulics design experience for drainage and related facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform and direct hydrology and hydraulic design for DOT projects such as bridges and highways.
• Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, technicians and staff to complete projects.
• Interface with clients including state and local agencies.
• Coordinate meetings with project stakeholders and share resources.
• Assist in proposal preparation including oral presentations.
• Prepare scope, schedule, and budget for new projects.
• Ensure project deadlines are met.
