Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering high-impact engineering work on complex projects.
• Strong backend with Python and Flask/Django.
• Front-end skills in React/TypeScript for web and mobile.
• Experience in Safety/Anti-Abuse at scale.
• Proven track record owning large projects end-to-end.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions balancing short- and long-term needs.
• Experience driving engineering excellence and code quality.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience using data metrics to guide decisions.
• Mentor others and establish best practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance dev workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact safety product development delivering measurable results.
• Own multi-milestone projects end-to-end with clear milestones.
• Design, build, deploy production APIs, services, and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Policy, Data Science, ML, Legal, Trust & Safety Ops.
• Drive engineering excellence through mentoring and architectural guidance.
• Respond quickly to evolving abuse and compliance challenges.
