Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced hardware engineer to support NGAS programs, focusing on RF/electromagnetics, avionics integration, and subsystem testing.

You will translate customer requirements into hardware specifications, develop and test components with suppliers, and document designs with detailed schematics and specs. U.S. citizenship and Top Secret SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline required.
• 12+ years of related engineering experience or 10+ with Master’s or 8+ with Ph.D.
• Active TS SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Experience with RF equipment for airborne platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams to develop hardware integration and testing for NGAS programs.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware specifications and performance analyses.
• Design, develop, build, and test electrical components and systems with suppliers.
• Document designs using schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Travel up to 10%.
