Pragmatike is seeking a Staff level Member of Technical Staff to lead architecture and drive high-impact initiatives across multiple teams. The role focuses on designing scalable distributed systems, resolving bottlenecks, and shaping long-term platform direction.

With 7+ years of software experience and strong leadership, you will mentor engineers and influence critical technology decisions while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems and system architecture.
• Deep proficiency in at least one major programming language.
• Experience operating systems at meaningful scale.
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to influence across teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of critical platform capabilities.
• Own complex technical initiatives from conception through production.
• Design scalable distributed systems and services.
• Identify and resolve architectural, reliability, and performance bottlenecks.
• Establish engineering patterns and technical standards.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
