Job summary

DigitalXNode is seeking a Staff Engineer – Fraud Prevention to lead platform architecture and design ultra-low-latency back-end services for real-time fraud detection. You will drive technical strategy, collaborate with multiple teams, and build scalable architectures capable of processing massive data volumes with high reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience operating at Staff/Principal/Lead Engineer level.
• Extensive experience designing highly available and distributed systems.
• Experience with large-scale backend platforms and real-time data processing.
• Experience in FinTech, Fraud Prevention, Payments, Financial Services, or Risk tech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical leader across multiple fraud prevention teams.
• Define and drive platform architecture and long-term technical strategy.
• Architect ultra-low-latency backend services for high-throughput workloads.
• Design and optimize real-time fraud detection and risk-processing pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and promote cross-team architectural alignment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
• Lead architecture reviews and major technical decisions.
