Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the evolution of its product development operating system within the Innovation Center. You will drive enterprise-wide improvements to how products are developed, built, transferred to manufacturing, and commercialized across functions.

You will establish scalable engineering processes and governance, partnering with R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure faster delivery, higher quality, and manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing scalable engineering systems, processes, or operating models.
• Ability to think strategically and apply systems thinking to organizational challenges.
• Proven track record influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong foundation in product development, design transfer, and manufacturing readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the organization's business processes from product development concept through commercial launch.
• Establish standardized processes, governance, and engineering best practices across the Innovation Center.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce development cycle time while improving quality and readiness.
• Lead initiatives that improve transition of products from R&D into Operations and high-volume manufacturing.
