Job summary

Socket is looking for an early-stage frontend engineer to help build and ship the Socket web application end-to-end. You will collaborate with design and engineering to deliver an elegant user experience and write APIs to aggregate data from multiple sources.

You will help shape the roadmap, plan sprints, and contribute to hiring decisions as the team grows in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing production web applications.
• Experience building and integrating APIs and relational databases (Postgres).
• Proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the Socket web application end-to-end.
• Work with the design team to develop interfaces that provide an elegant user experience.
• Write APIs to deliver data from multiple data sources.
• Extract and transform data from 3rd party APIs.
• Help shape the roadmap and plan sprints to deliver features quickly.
• Be a key part of hiring, including interviewing and input into team growth decisions.
