Syndio is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help build outward-facing surfaces for our compensation platform, internal agentic tooling, and scalable APIs for external developers. You’ll own identity and authentication work, partner with leadership, and move fast across domains with minimal guidance.

You’ll collaborate with teams across engineering, product, and GTM to design robust, secure, and scalable systems, while delivering practical, incremental improvements and aligning with business

Qualifications

• Senior IC who can translate business needs into technical plans.
• Deep experience with distributed systems and scalable APIs.
• Proficient in authentication and authorization strategies.
• Strong testing discipline across end-to-end and integration tests.

Responsabilités

• Build and ship integration apps hosted inside third-party platforms — major HRIS and enterprise service management.
• Own the full lifecycle: platform SDKs and app frameworks, tenancy models, marketplace certification, versioning, and upgrades.
• Design and build APIs for external developers with thoughtful versioning, rate limiting, and error semantics.
• Strengthen identity and access services; implement OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and multi-tenant authorization.
