Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Order Management System (OMS). You will design distributed services, model domains, and drive architecture decisions with product and engineering peers.

You will own reliability, observability, and on-call responses to keep the commerce platform resilient and scalable. You will operate in a hybrid SF framework, collaborating across teams, and shaping system boundaries, data contracts, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with a focus on backend systems and distributed architectures.
• Experience operating in a you-build-it-you-run-it culture with on-call responsibilities.
• Strong emphasis on observability, dashboards, metrics, and reliable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and domain modeling of complex OMS-based distributed systems.
• Champion DDD, bounded contexts, and clean service boundaries.
• Define ADRs and design docs to communicate trade-offs and decisions.
