The role emphasizes leading CRM and OMS initiatives, owning integrations across ERP, WMS, POS, and e-commerce, and guiding cross-functional teams through the end-to-end order lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, enterprise apps, CRM or OMS roles.
• Strong OMS experience in retail/e-commerce.
• CRM experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of CRM and OMS solutions for retail and e-commerce operations.
• Own architecture and integration strategies across CRM, OMS, ERP, WMS, POS, and e-commerce platforms.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions with business stakeholders and engineers.
• Manage end-to-end order lifecycle: capture, fulfillment, shipment, returns, refunds, exchanges.
• Provide technical leadership to development and integration teams, enforcing standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with architects on platform modernization and tech strategy.
• Support production readiness, performance, and incident remediation.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CRM Technical Lead with strong Order Management System (OMS) expertise to join our client's technology team supporting a fast-growing retail and apparel business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail/e-commerce, CRM, OMS, order lifecycle management, and enterprise system integrations. This person will provide technical leadership across CRM and order management initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and cross-functional technology teams.

The successful candidate should have hands-on experience working in retail, fashion, apparel, or consumer brands, with a strong understanding of omnichannel commerce and the end-to-end customer/order journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of CRM and OMS solutions supporting retail and e-commerce operations.
• Own technical architecture and integration strategy across CRM, OMS, ERP, WMS, POS, e-commerce, and other enterprise platforms.
• Partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end order lifecycle, including order capture, fulfillment, shipment, cancellation, modification, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Design and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Provide technical leadership to developers and integration teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and system scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis and remediation plans.
• Establish and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and development standards.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and engineering teams on technology strategy and platform modernization.
• Participate in code/design reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise development and security standards.
• Support system performance, scalability, reliability, and production readiness.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint planning, refinement, demos, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise applications, CRM, OMS, or related technology roles.
• Strong experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) in a retail/e-commerce environment.
• Strong CRM experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable CRM technologies.
• Experience leading complex enterprise integrations between CRM, OMS, ERP, WMS, POS, and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of retail and omnichannel commerce.
• Previous experience in apparel, fashion, footwear, luxury, or consumer retail is highly preferred.
• Experience with APIs, web services, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Strong knowledge of order-to-cash and customer journey processes.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
