Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer / Tech Lead to shape the next generation of its omnichannel notification platform. You will design, build, and operate scalable backend services that deliver notifications across multiple channels and surfaces, and set the technical direction for cross-functional initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture across multiple teams, and lead incident response while balancing reliability, latency, and product velocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent years of experience.
• 9+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience or 8+ with MS or 5+ with PhD.
• Experience building reliable, scalable services in cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction and long-term architecture for Snap’s omnichannel notification platform.
• Design, build, and operate highly available, scalable backend services delivering notifications across channels.
• Define APIs, data models, and abstractions for cross-team integration.
