Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Delivery Platform to build scalable ads infrastructure and end‑to‑end delivery systems.

You will shape product direction, collaborate across teams, and drive performance improvements for advertising products used by hundreds of millions of Snapchat users. The role emphasizes technical leadership, systems design, and deliverables across the ads stack, with an expectation to lead by example and mentor others in a fast-paced, privacy‑focused

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent years of experience.
9+ years post-Bachelors software development experience; or advanced degree with relevant years.
1+ year of technical leadership/ownership experience.

Responsibilities

Build next generation ads formats and backend infrastructure for more clicks and conversions.
Work end-to-end on new ads products, formats, or infrastructure experiments.
Collaborate across teams to translate product requirements into scalable solutions.
Advocate for availability, scalability, operational excellence, and cost management.
Provide technical direction influencing the entire company and its performance ads suite.
Drive cross-team delivery by evaluating trade-offs and delivering needed solutions.
