Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) seeks a Staff Engineer for New Product Development in Franklin Lakes, NJ, hybrid with 4 days in the office. You will define science and material platforms for next-gen TPE devices across infusion, drug delivery, and vascular access portfolios.

You will lead development of next-gen TPE formulations, design research strategies, and translate insights into scalable, data-driven design rules while collaborating across R&D, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline as listed.
• Experience in polymer research, formulation development, or material characterization.
• Ability to design experiments and build structure-property relationships.
• Strong scientific writing and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of next-generation TPE formulations and structural systems for medical device applications.
• Design strategies to understand how polymer composition, processing, sterilization, and aging affect performance.
• Develop robust characterization methods and predictive models for design decisions.
• Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and external partners.
• Translate customer and regulatory requirements into material design inputs and verification plans.
