Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Civil Engineer with a geotechnical focus in Fort Worth, TX, to support field-intensive projects through data collection, inspections, and technical design.

You will help prepare health and safety plans, analyze field and lab data, and assist with cost estimates and documentation in a travel-heavy environment. Ideal for a motivated self-starter eager to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, geotechnical focus; M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
• 0-2 years of consulting Geotechnical Engineering experience.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing professionally.
• E.I.T. strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist with health and safety plans and related documentation such as JSAs.
• Collect and interpret data from site inspections, field tests, and lab data.
• Assist in preparing detailed plans and technical specifications.
• Perform computations and process data using computer software or established methods.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation.
• Support other engineering tasks under supervision of senior engineers.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
