Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 0–3 years of site civil, geotechnical or environmental engineering experience.
• Experience with inspection of compacted fills, footings, ground improvement, deep foundations, retaining walls, utilities, asphalt, concrete, sitework elements.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification; EIT preferred or able to become registered within six months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and conformance to specs and procedures.
• Lead drafting efforts and instruct drafters on turning designs into drawings.
• Perform routine geotechnical laboratory checks and oversee testing.
• Prepare geologic reports, maps, and environmental studies as required.
• Develop schedules and budgets and provide milestone/status reports to management.
