Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead distributed systems design for Crusoe Cloud's Monitoring Service. You will own telemetry pipelines from edge collection to ingestion, storage and query, building high-throughput, multi-tenant data systems for AI workloads at scale.

This is a full-time role in a fast-moving, energy-first AI infrastructure company. You will shape the architecture, drive design reviews, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product,

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Experience building or operating large-scale data infrastructure (time-series, logs, streaming).
• Strong programming fundamentals in Go or a modern compiled language; Kubernetes/CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of large-scale telemetry pipelines (ingestion, processing, storage, query).
• Design scalable, multi-tenant services with high availability and cost efficiency.
• Improve pipeline reliability and reduce on-call burden through robust design.
• Set technical direction and lead design reviews for distributed systems work.
• Collaborate with product, compute, networking and platform teams to align observability decisions.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through design, reviews, and incidents.
