Job summary

Procore Technologies is seeking a Staff Software Engineer- Construction Digital Twin to lead the technical vision for Procore's Construction Digital Twin platform. This role sits on the Product & Technology Team and centers on turning static 3D models into living, data-driven simulations.

As a Staff Engineer, you will bridge high-scale distributed systems with real-time 3D, IoT graphs, and AI-driven workflows, mentor IC3/IC4 engineers, define architectural roadmaps, and partner with customers to

Qualifications

• 7+ years architecting, scaling, distributed enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python; working knowledge of NodeJS/Ruby is a plus.
• Hands-on Omniverse ecosystem experience and 3D/virtual production background.
• Experience with telemetry, spatial data, and digital twin synchronization.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise in AWS and GPU instances; IoT services like AWS IoT TwinMaker.
• Strong system design, modular architecture, and trade-off analysis.
• CI/CD experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, CircleCI.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architectural roadmap for Digital Twin ecosystem.
• Lead rapid development, rollout, and maintenance of core services.
• Establish standards for reliability, observability, and performance.
• Architect high-concurrency data pipelines integrating 3D streams and IoT telemetry.
• Conduct architectural reviews and mentor engineers (IC3/IC4).
• Collaborate with Infra, Security, and Product to integrate Digital Twin in the SaaS platform.
