Job summary

Procore is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical vision for Construction Digital Twin, turning static 3D models into data‑driven simulations within our global SaaS platform.

You will own end‑to‑end architecture for high‑scale distributed systems, collaborate with customers and partners, and mentor IC3/IC4 engineers to deliver reliable, scalable software and rapid AI‑enabled product development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience architecting and maintaining distributed enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python; NodeJS and Ruby on Rails knowledge is a plus.
• Deep experience with 3D environments, digital twins, telemetry, and spatial data.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architectural roadmap for the Digital Twin ecosystem.
• Lead rapid development, rollout, and maintenance of core services.
• Establish standards for reliability, observability, and performance.
• Architect high-concurrency systems integrating real-time 3D streaming and IoT telemetry.
• Mentor IC3/IC4 engineers; conduct architectural reviews and promote TDD practices.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Product leadership across Procore's SaaS platform.
