You will build AI-native onboarding experiences that guide organisations through regional tax and payroll configurations, while pairing them with deterministic backend systems for flawless data precision.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with sustained technical leadership.
• Experience in architecting platform and distributed systems at scale.
• Hands-on coding while guiding high-level strategy and roadmap.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional technical initiatives across squads.
• Strong product intuition to translate ambiguous requirements into durable platform primitives.

Responsibilities

• Architect for Global Expansion: design infrastructure enabling country expansion teams to deploy Rippling Payroll into new markets with minimal friction.
• AI-Driven Workflows: merge LLMs with deterministic code to build conversational onboarding experiences with high accuracy.
• Deconstruct Complexity: translate regulatory and payroll setup flows into clean backend systems and UX.
• Scale the Platform: own core transactional components for high availability and data integrity.
