Job summary

Acceler8 Talent is expanding its US engineering presence and seeks a Senior / Staff Platform Engineer to deploy and scale the core platform across US Government environments. You’ll own the production Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure and work hands-on on security, reliability and deployment across sensitive environments.

The role emphasizes a non-generic DevOps focus, with involvement in GovCloud, FedRAMP and air-gapped systems.

Qualifications

Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider.
Experience making architecture and deployment decisions yourself rather than only defining standards for other teams.
Exposure to GovCloud, FedRAMP, defence, federal government or similarly secure environments.
Experience working in environments where security, reliability and deployment constraints genuinely matter.

Responsibilities

Own and improve production Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
Solve difficult reliability, security and operational problems across customer environments.
Adapt an existing platform for GovCloud, FedRAMP and government infrastructure requirements.
Deploy into environments ranging from customer cloud through to classified, disconnected and air-gapped systems.
Help shape the technical foundations of a growing US engineering team.
Stay hands-on while becoming a senior technical reference point for the wider team.
