Job summary

Alliance HCM is seeking a full-time Staff Engineer in The Woodlands, TX to drive technical strategy and major product decisions for our HCM and payroll platform.

You will lead architectural discussions, evaluate emerging technologies, and create prototypes to validate ideas before large investments. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, guide critical decisions, and ensure scalability, reliability, and long-term success of our systems.

THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Extensive experience operating as a high-level technical contributor, such as a staff engineer, principal engineer, or lead engineer
• Demonstrated ability to design and guide scalable technical architectures
• Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and decision-making skills

Experience working within C# and .NET enterprise ecosystems is preferred.
