Alliance HCM in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an Experienced Staff Software Engineer to shape the architectural roadmap for our core HCM and payroll systems. You will lead technical discovery and guide the design of scalable solutions that empower nationwide clients.

In this full-time role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, evaluate emerging technologies, build prototypes, and mitigate risks before development begins, with direct exposure to leadership and high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating as a high-level technical contributor, such as a staff engineer, principal engineer, or lead engineer.
• Ability to design and guide scalable technical architectures.
• Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and decision-making skills.
