Job description

Ardurra is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer to join our team in Nampa, ID!

*Must have EIT certification*

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• EI/EIT or PE Certificate
• 0-3 years' experience in the civil engineering field
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is a plus
• Self-motivated, team-oriented individual capable of working on challenging projects
• Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in client contact and communication related to specific projects
• Support the development of construction cost estimates
• Perform design tasks and prepare drawings under the guidance of experienced project managers, including construction inspection and oversight
• Keep the Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services
• Assist in design components of various projects
• Provide information to Project Managers or Engineers for specifications
• Research design options and present recommendations
• Potentially serve as onsite project representative
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to navigate various locations and settings of the company
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Possess a valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely

Salary Range

$62,000 to $75,000 (DOE)
