Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Propulsion Engineer to lead engine system architecture trades (CONOPS), manage engine interfaces, and drive collaboration with vehicle design. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in complex engineering systems development or test environments.
• Experience applying engineering fundamentals in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Drive engine system architecture trades and CONOPS.
• Manage engine interfaces and negotiate requirements to optimize for the vehicle.
• Support engine system development, analysis, and testing (including simulation and tool development).
• Lead collaborative projects with minimal oversight and own critical interfaces.
