Job summary

Relativity Space in Colorado is seeking a senior engine systems engineer to drive architecture trades, manage interfaces, and optimize propulsion for the Terran R program. You'll own critical decisions and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable propulsion cores.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in complex engineering system development or test environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field.
• Working knowledge of liquid-propellant rocket engines.

Responsibilities

• Lead engine system trades (architecture + CONOPS) and optimize for vehicle integration.
• Manage engine interfaces and negotiate requirements across teams.
• Support engine system development, analysis, simulation, testing, and tool development.
• Collaborate across teams and bring deep technical acumen to the role.
