Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Xetron unit in Cincinnati, OH seeks a cleared Staff Embedded Software Engineer to lead development of sensor, communication, and cyber systems onsite. You’ll work in a fast-paced, engineering-intensive environment on next-gen capabilities for US intelligence customers, with opportunities to grow in a multidisciplinary team.

Basic qualifications include BS in engineering, 12+ years or MS with 10 years or PhD with 7 years, plus leadership of small teams and proficiency in C/C++

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in science, engineering, or related field with extensive experience
• Technical leadership of small teams (3+)
• Experience with C, C++, and embedded assembly (ARM, PIC, AVR)
• Experience with embedded development environments (Xilinx SDK, TI CCS, IAR, GCC)
• Experience with debugging and analysis tools (JTAG, GDB, USB analyzers)
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash)
• Full lifecycle from requirements to release
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead development of sensor, communication, and cyber systems
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary program teams
• Manage requirements, design, implementation, integration and test
• Work onsite in Cincinnati, OH
• Support opportunities with SIGINT/EW and cyber applications
