Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking cleared or clearable Sr. Principal Embedded Software Engineers to lead development of sensor, communication, and cyber systems onsite in Cincinnati, OH.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team handling requirements, hardware selection, software development, and system integration across high-impact programs. Candidates should have a BS degree with 8 years experience (or MS with 6, or PhD with 4) and strong C/C++/embedded skills, plus experience with Xilinx, TI CCS,

Qualifications

• BS degree in science, engineering, or related field with 8 years of experience; or 6 years with a MS; or 4 years with a PhD.
• Technical leadership of small teams (3+ engineers).
• Experience with C, C++, and embedded assembly (ARM, PIC, AVR).
• Experience with embedded systems development environments (Xilinx SDK, TI CCS, IAR, GCC).
• Experience with debugging tools (JTAG, GDB, USB analyzers).
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash).
• Full lifecycle of development from requirements to release.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of sensor, communication, and cyber systems onsite in Cincinnati, OH.
• Contribute to requirements, hardware selection, software design, integration, and test.
• Work in multi-disciplinary program teams for SIGINT/EW and Cyber programs.
