Jobgether is seeking a Staff Embedded Engineer in the United States to lead embedded software development for implantable medical devices. You will shape firmware architecture, drive production-ready software, and ensure IEC 62304 compliance while collaborating across electrical, controls, and quality teams.

The role combines software leadership with hands-on hardware integration, debugging, and verification, and supports remote work within the United States with overlapping East Coast hours.

Formación

• Strong embedded software engineering skills with firmware architecture expertise.
• Experience implementing regulated medical device software per IEC 62304.
• Hands-on hardware–software integration including board bring-up and debugging.

Responsabilidades

• Own embedded software development from requirements to production release across platforms.
• Define scalable firmware architecture and ensure maintainable designs.
• Establish software development processes per IEC 62304 and regulatory traceability.
• Collaborate with electrical and controls engineers to integrate charging tech.
• Develop verification strategies and automated tests for quality and safety.
• Provide technical leadership through reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
