Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Staff Electronics Engineer to lead the Sentinel program. This System Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) role guides design, integration, testing and troubleshooting of advanced electronic systems and interfaces with customers to deliver reliable, mission-critical hardware.

The candidate will review schematics, boards, and test results, mentor engineers, manage risk, and present technical briefings.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading a team in a CPE role or equivalent.
• Experience with digital/analog circuit design, testing and integration.
• Active US Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Define overall electronics hardware architecture to meet performance and reliability targets.
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, integration drawings, and test results; perform analyses and validate with tests.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies; lead design reviews and document decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical workshops on best practice design, analysis, and test methods.
