Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Staff Electronics Engineer (Level 5) in Oklahoma City, OK. The role focuses on developing avionics testing solutions and equipment for Sentinel platforms, researching, designing, and testing electrical components and systems.

You will lead collaboration across software, test, cyber, and procurement teams while addressing obsolescence and performance challenges. The position requires a US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance, a STEM degree

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12 years of related engineering experience, or a Master’s/PhD path with fewer years.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance and special program access.
Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test).

Responsibilities

Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex integrated test systems.
Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total systems in a lab environment.
Own engineering design and 2D drawings; manage applicable standards for electrical products.
Coordinate design reviews for electrical and system level designs of products.
Troubleshoot lab equipment when failures occur.
Coordinate with engineering managers to ensure data packages meet schedules.
Collaborate with Software, System Test, Cyber, Procurement to meet commitments.
Analyze complex circuitry and assemblies to suggest substitutions or redesigns.
Identify and resolve obsolescence issues and monitor milestones.
