Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah is hiring a Staff Test Engineer to support the Sentinel program. You will be part of the Aerospace Vehicle Equipment On Board Test Equipment team, planning and executing vehicle-level integration, test and checkout activities for developmental flight testing.

Responsibilities include defining test requirements, developing test plans and procedures, preparing for TRRs, integrating hardware, and interfacing with software and systems teams.

Qualifications

• 12 years with Bachelor’s in Science; 10 years with Master’s; 8 years with PhD.
• Active US Government Secret clearance required (with BI within past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance in a reasonable time.
• Experience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout).
• Experience with qualification and/or acceptance testing and with software/hardware testing.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer contractual needs into element test solutions within schedule and cost constraints.
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for subsystems.
• Coordinate integrated testing activities and provide technical leadership to junior engineers on the On Board Test Equipment Team.
