Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Staff Electronics Engineer to develop Automated Test Equipment for the FBM program. You will lead design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of complex test systems with project partners at Cape Canaveral, FL, on a full-time, in-office 9x80 schedule.

Strong hardware expertise, ATE experience, and the ability to mentor engineers while interfacing with customers and suppliers are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hardware development experience.
• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement).
• Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems.
• Experience with technical troubleshooting and/or integration of hardware and/or software systems.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance; must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review, error analysis, integration and troubleshooting.
• Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
• Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
• Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
