Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to develop Automated Test Equipment for FBM programs near Cape Canaveral, FL. This full-time role requires in-office work with a flexible 9x80 schedule and mentoring of junior engineers.

Responsibilities include leading design, testing, documentation, and collaboration with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to deliver robust test systems for the US Navy Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hardware development experience required.
• Experience with full life cycle from development to retirement.
• Strong background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or similar systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and integrate hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, procurement, assembly, testing and verification of automated test systems.
• Develop hardware requirements for subsystems and support equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal teams for cost-effective solutions.
• Create test system design documentation for stakeholders.
