Job summary

Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain
- Minimum 3 years of Electrical Engineering experience related to submarine systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Linux, and C/C++
- Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills; team player
Responsibilities
- Support all phases of the system lifecycle from concept to retirement
- Root cause analysis of system/component issues and failures
- Review ship drawings for system integration and drafting of assemblies
- 2D/3D modeling and drafting of electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Prototyping and inspection of materials
- Support technical data package development (TDP) including TEMPALT
- Prepare letters and process flow checklists
- Ship check and fit checks for submarines
- Support system testing and documentation including EMI/EMC and cybersecurity
- Assist fleet troubleshooting and DFS creation
- Engage with Agile project management and systems engineering processes
- Identify and remove workflow obstacles
- Assist with stakeholder presentations and briefs
