Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree required or in combination with FE/engineering experience.
• FE exam completion or progress required.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems/equipment for safe, productive workplaces.
• Advise clients on electrical system options and safety code compliance.
• Monitor installation to ensure design and safety compliance.
• Develop design criteria for protective coordination, relays, transformers, switchgear, distribution.
• Review equipment designs and specifications being purchased or fabricated.
• Develop concept studies and design work; enforce standards.
