Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• FE exam completed or in process (EIT preferred).
• 3+ years electrical engineering experience, consulting preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MicroStation, 2D/3D rendering tools.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems/equipment for safe, useful workplaces.
• Advise clients on electrical systems to meet needs and safety codes.
• Monitor installation to ensure conformance with design specs and codes.
• Develop design criteria for protective coordination and distribution.
• Review designs and specifications of equipment or systems to be purchased or fabricated.
• Develop concept studies and design; enforce standards and practices.
