Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a systems engineer to lead end-to-end development of integrated software and hardware systems for advanced defense platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the entire product lifecycle from concept through testing.

The role requires 2–6 years in electrical, aerospace or systems engineering, familiarity with Cameo, Agile, prototyping, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Interest in systems design, development, integration, and testing.
• 2–6 years of industry experience in EE, aerospace or systems engineering.
• Familiarity with Cameo for systems modeling.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and working in Agile development.
• Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and building complex robotic systems.
• Experience writing automated test scripts (Python, MATLAB, etc).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to a positive, inclusive and collaborative culture.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead development for an end-to-end solution by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components meeting performance requirements.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure reliability in distributed environments.
• Work with hardware engineers and product managers for seamless integration.
• Document software processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
