Regency Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead education for clinical and non-clinical staff. You will design, implement, and evaluate training programs to ensure residents receive high-quality care, while coordinating nurse schedules in the facility.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Education, or a related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
• Licensure: RN license preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in a clinical or educational role within healthcare, preferably long-term care.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Infection control certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Staffing schedule in building.
• Oversee recruitment in building.
• Train staff in building.
• Create and facilitate training programs including orientation and continuing education.
• Ensure staff maintain required certifications and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee onboarding process for new hires.
• Develop and monitor infection prevention and control policies.
• Mentor staff and promote a culture of learning.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs.
• Maintain records of training sessions, certifications, and audits.
