Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Staff Digital Engineer for the Digital Technologies Department, based onsite in Linthicum, MD. The role requires leading design teams, integrating digital subsystems and coordinating with Systems, Software, RF, Security, and Platform architects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
12+ years of professional/related experience, or MS with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
Must have a current/active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain SAP.

Responsibilities

Engage with management and customers to understand objectives, and decompose and specify modules for design, development and integration.
Provide direction and oversight to internal design teams and develop cost, risk, and schedule estimates.
Architect Digital Subsystems and allocate functionality to components such as SBCs, SoCs, ASICs and FPGAs; model DSP algorithms and systems.
Mentor and provide knowledge sharing to engineers of all skill levels.
